Hi, I’m Gaby
I am a UX/UI Designer based in NYC with experience designing for both mobile and web app interfaces, and collaborating on design systems and beta versions for startup product launches.
My passion for UX design is deeply rooted in my curiosity about human behavior, which I cultivated through my psychology degree. For me, UX is the perfect blend of psychology, creative problem-solving, and an insatiable curiosity. I'm driven by the opportunity to transform user experiences through innovative design, thus bridging the gap between people and technology.
I'm also strongly interested in design systems, motivated by a dedication to simplify interactions and streamline the creation process.
Outside of work, I like to get away from the busy city and go breathe in nice fresh air at the top of a mountain (ideally after a challenging hike). I'm also equally content relaxing at home with my cat, Mango ❤️
My long-term goal is to take on leadership roles and advocate for human-centric design principles to make a lasting impact 💪🏼

Fall in love with the problem and not the solution. Ensuring the problem is properly defined before thinking of how to solve it will pave the way for successful products.

The best solutions arise when diverse talents and perspectives come together. I value open communication and fostering collaboration among team members and believe it is essential to the process.
🪨 FACE CHALLENGES
I am not afraid to tackle things that may be out of my comfort zone. Any challenge I face or any mistake I make only provides an opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills.
🔨 ITERATIVE DESIGN
Don’t get attached to your designs. Problems and solutions are ever-changing and it’s important to get feedback often and continuously iterate and refine your designs to achieve the best product for users.
🎢 ADAPT TO THE PROJECT
While following a set process is helpful, the real process can be messy and unpredictable. Embrace different approaches, fail fast, and constantly reflect on past experiences to seek improvement.

I fearlessly explore new possibilities for innovation and improve my skills through learning the latest industry trends and best practices so that I may bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to projects.
